Programs (Chubu)

At its core, the Programs Committee works to create a platform to support both local and international business with quality programming to build relationships among executives, develop and strengthen executive skills in employees at all levels, and spread the economic and business know-how possessed by both members and guest speakers that are invited regularly. Within the wider objectives, two specific areas are also supported: young professionals and women. The Young Professionals Forum focuses on early-career mentoring and executive training, while Women in Business promotes programs around empowerment, advocacy, and mentorship. By focusing on these areas, the committee can promote a healthy Chubu business environment that is diverse and balanced. The committee holds monthly meetings and events that provide a variety of programming that covers all areas.

In addition, the committee is also responsible for organizing some of the established annual events that provide members with enhanced cultural learning experiences in a social atmosphere. These include the Champagne Ball, which brings 250 people from all over the local international community, making it the largest of its kind in Nagoya.

This committee requires a diverse and active membership, reflecting its ambition to enhance the business community of Chubu.
