Om Prakash Re-Elected ACCJ President For 2023
Om Prakash, Chief Executive for Northrop Grumman Japan, has been re-elected ACCJ President for 2023.
“It’s a great honor to be re-elected as ACCJ President. I consider it a privilege to work together with the 2023 Board of Governors in serving the diverse membership of the ACCJ to further the Chamber’s mission. I am excited to continue contributing to the U.S.-Japan alliance by representing business on the ground. I also thank our outgoing Board members for their accomplishments and support this past year,” said Prakash.
“The ACCJ plays a critical role for businesses in Japan. I look forward to continuing our work with U.S. Ambassador Rahm Emanuel, Prime Minister Kishida’s administration, our valued U.S. and Japanese government stakeholders, and our various partners on such key issues as the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework, Japan’s implementation of the economic security law, promoting innovation across sectors, and other initiatives impacting U.S. companies in Japan. The U.S.-Japan partnership is a force for peace and stability in the region. We have made much progress this year, especially with the re-opening of Japan’s borders, and the ACCJ will continue to promote policies and activities that can bolster Japan’s attractiveness as a leading global center for business,” Prakash added.
